Tip of the cap to both Samsung and Google this week as they demonstrate that they know how to listen to their customers. Unlike Motorola, Verizon and T-Mobile, however, who once again prove they have no understanding of what people really want. I also want to welcome Steve Birchfield to the Android Vibe as our new blogger and app reviewer. Be sure to subscribe to the new RSS feeds for the blog and app reviews.

Max Payne Mobile Comes to Android

Posted on April 7th, 2012

Many exciting things happen with Android this week. Despite what critics may say, the Google Play store is becoming more attractive with new movies, books, and apps. It’s also pretty exciting to see what Google will do with their new economically-friendly tablet. The Nexus tablet will be delayed, but even more affordable than ever. Another thing that got me pretty excited is the new Max Payne Mobile game. Being a long-time fan of this fugitive cop, I can’t wait to enter Bullet-Time where ever I am!

Apple Denied Access to Android Development History

Posted on March 23rd, 2012

I am pleased to report that the court system is finally starting to get tired of Apple’s ridiculousness in trying to attack Android at every corner. While this isn’t necessarily a huge win for Android, it just goes to show how sadly Apple may be loosing their footing when it comes to innovation, as they are focusing more on litigation. Either way, Android will continue to reign supreme!

This week we make the best of a slow news week, but there is always something hip with Android! HTC’s video for how they make the One’s chassis is quite impressive. As Spring warms things up, remember to take Android with you and have fun!

Following MWC this week, we cover some of the more interesting things in Android, my favorite being the new phone / tablet combo from ASUS. It really amazes me how this motherboard manufacturer is really pushing the edge with cool tech for Android. Well done, ASUS!
